Eagle Creek Sailing Club (fleet 201) would like to invite all Midwest District sailors to its third annual Flying Scot regatta next weekend, June 12-14, 2015. Eagle Creek is a reservoir to the west of Indianapolis with a 5hp limit and very low powerboat activity to keep the fun up and the bouncing around in chop down. The Sailing Club boasts a large campground for campers complete with hot showers and on-site ice for coolers. We also have several motels within 10 minutes of the club.
We have 8 boats preregistered and are currently expecting around 15 but would love to get up to 20! Your registration covers all meal and drinks including a welcome cookout on Friday, a hot breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, lunches on Saturday and Sunday, and a BBQ dinner on Saturday night. Did I also mention that this is one of the regattas that can count towards the traveling series for you road warriors out there? We can't control the weather but we can promise good company, good competition, good food, and a good time! The schedule for the weekend is as follows:
Friday June 12
Club opens at 3:00pm for early arrivals.
Registration will open at 5:00pm and a welcome cookout will be held from 5 - 9
Saturday June 13
Racing begins at noon
Sunday June 14
Racing begins at 9:30am
For the NOR and further details head to the ECSC website at: http://www.ecsail.org/racing.htm
We hope to see you there!
